Import a service record and the timeline builds itself — enlistments, deployments, discharges. Breaks in service are supported, so re-enlisted veterans' histories are recorded accurately.
Standard of proof, determined
Athena maps onset and worsening dates against service periods and determines the applicable standard: Balance of Probabilities (BoP) for peacetime service, or Reasonable Hypothesis (RH) for operational service.
